The Lenox Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites written quotes from Contractors for the Kitchen Cabinet Replacement and Bathroom Renovation at the 25 West Street Development for the Lenox Housing Authority in Lenox Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Roy S. Brown Architects.
The Project consists of : Renovations to two bathrooms (phased during
construction), including but not limited to: new
cementitious polyurethane flooring, new solid surface
shower paneling, painting, replacement of ceramic
tile, replacement of existing shower valves and trim,
replacement of existing lights, replacement of existing
ventilation fans, replacement of grab bars.
Laundry Room: Repair existing ceiling and paint.
Repair drywall at door jamb, and paint all walls.
Replace missing piece of wood door casing to match.
Kitchen: Refinishing and repair of existing Kitchen
cabinet door and drawer fronts. Replace existing
rubber base around perimeter of Kitchen.
Replacement of specific cabinets entirely.
Misc. Exterior Renovations/Repairs: Replacement of
two existing exterior sidewall aluminum vent caps.
Replace section of cracked vinyl siding to match.
The work is estimated to cost $45,590
Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c.149 &44A (2)(B) & to state prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 &&26 to 27H inclusive.
Written Quotes will be received until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). All Quotes shall be prepared and submitted online at www.Projectdog.com and received no later than the date & time specified above. There is a plan deposit of $25.00 per set (maximum of 2 sets) payable to Projectdog, Inc. and must be a certified or cashier's check. This deposit will be refunded for up to two sets upon return of the sets in good condition within ten (10) days of receipt of quotes. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of Projectdog, Inc. Contractors requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $35.00 per set, payable to Projectdog, Inc., to cover mail handling costs.
The job site and/or existing building will be available for inspection Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
